Gregg Braden's Fractal Time
Gregg Braden's new book "Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age" sounds like a very interesting one, if you know anything about the Mayan calendar and the significance of 2012.

Since I have, as of now, grounds to critique this (since I haven't read any of his books), I just leave one thought for you guys to ponder:

If this guy (as he claims) has studied the mayan calendar so closely, and has brought us the secrets of old... how is it that the picture he shows us as the mayan calendar is actually the aztec sun stone, which is not even a calendar?

Also, why are we mathematicians and physicists not aware of this connection between "fractal patterns", "quantum effects" and being able to predict things in the future? Why is this not in a paper in a science journal? Believe me, if this had any bit of scientific foundation, it would be, we are not so square as you think we are...
