According to a study by the University of Scranton, PA, every January millions of American women resolve to lose weight and change their eating habits, but, 1/4 of them go back to their old ways within one week.
Yes, ONE WEEK! The statistics is discouraging. Is it any wonder that losing weight seems to be a "perennial goal" that most people make, year after year?
Well, February is half-gone. Are you one of those who have fallen off the New Year's Resolution Wagon?
Every time I go out to give workshops, people always ask me: "How do you keep your figure?"
I just smile and say "That would be a totally different workshop!" or "I'm not really an expert in that area."
This has been going on for the past couple of years. I shy away from giving any advice on weight loss, but, more and more people are asking me about it. Interesting, isn't it? I guess people see that I look fit, so I must know something about how to get/stay fit. Come to think of it, I've managed to stay the same size since college, after 2 pregnancies and my fair share of illnesses, injuries and surgeries over the years. So, I guess I do know a thing or two about staying healthy and fit.
In the meantime, my husband decided to get certified as a fitness trainer, since it's his long-time passion. It's been a fantastic journey for him, and he is having a blast (another example of how doing what you love & pursuing your true passion makes a difference)!
I believe that losing & managing weight is a complex issue that needs a comprehensive plan & support system. So, I've decided to team up with my husband to offer a 10-week intensive life and body makeover program, with a combination of coaching and fitness training to help you finally reach your weight loss and fitness goal.
