Happy Valentine's Day! I'd like to take this opportunity to express how much I appreciate having you in my life. I hope you take time to share your love & appreciation with your loved ones, INCLUDING yourself.
You are the most important person in your own life, whether you acknowledge it or not. Honor yourself. Give yourself some much-deserved TLC today. Take time to do something you love today, or plan something for near future. Book that manicure or massage, or lunch date with your friends. Read a good book. Take a bubble bath. Go to yoga or kickboxing or take a walk by the lake. Work on an arts & crafts project. Watch a funny movie and laugh with abandon. Play with your children or your pet. Savor a good cup of coffee (or tea). You get the idea.
The point is, take time to nurture YOU today.
Here is another idea. How about doing something that EMPOWERs you? Trying something new & challenging is empowering, so is working for a good cause. Meeting & working with a group of like-minded people can certainly lift your spirit.
For example, Powerful You! is a national women's network, dedicated to connecting and empowering women. Their meetings are quite different from other business networking groups I've been to. There's much heart-to-heart connection and spiritual growth that come from the kind of discussions we have at the meetings. I love it so much that I've recently signed up to be a co-facilitator for my hometown's chapter (Denville NJ). There are chapters in many states. If there's one in your area, I encourage you to check it out.
I will be speaking at the Denville chapter meeting next Wednesday February 20th, and my topic is "Learning to say NO so you can say YES to your life". If you are in NY/NJ area, or if you'll be traveling to this area next week, please come & attend our meeting. I'd love to meet you! For meeting details, please visit:

I love you not only for what you are,
but for what I am when I am with you.
I love you not only for what you have made of yourself,
but for what you are making of me.
I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
I love you for putting your hand
into my heaped up heart
and for passing over all of the foolish things
you can't help dimly seeing there,
and for drawing out into the light
all of the beautiful belongings
that no one else has looked quite far enough to find.
I love you because you have
done more than any creed
could have done to make me good
and more than any fate
could have done to make me happy.
You have done it without a touch,
without a word, without a sign.
You have done it by being yourself -
Perhaps that is what being a friend means, after all.
May love fill your life, every single day.
Blessings,
Hueina
