FREE Teleclass: Communication with Teenagers

Teleclass Title

What in the world are you talking about?

If you have a pre-teen or teenager at home, chances are, you've probably experienced some challenges of communicating with your child. You love your child dearly, but, sometimes you just don't know how to get through to him/her. You used to be so close, but now your child wants nothing to do with you (at least it appears that way). You used to be all-knowing and wise in your child's eyes, and now your opinions are far less important than his/her friends' or whatever the media says. Sometimes you feel like you're talking to a brick wall -- you don't even know if your child heard you or not. You feel like you're stuck in endless power struggles, but don't know how to stop.

Where's love? Isn't there any hope for a civil conversation with your teen?

Well, there is.

My guest speaker Randy Nathan, MSW, CEC (aka Coach Randy), owner of Your Personal Coach and creator of the LEAP Program, is a personal empowerment coach who specializes in coaching teens and young adults. He has more than 20 years of experience working with teens.

In this Teleclass you will learn:

  • the importance of clear and concise communication
  • how to overcome the obstacles and resistance in communicating with your child
  • how to improve your communication skills in order to be heard by your child
  • how to really “hear” what your teenager is saying
  • how to develop skills, negotiate and reinforce the love you have for each other.
