When we were little girls, we spoke our minds and showed our true emotions. We were not afraid to be ourselves. Overtime, however, we were conditioned to behave in a certain way, and took on some false beliefs about our self and our world. We created all these "stories" (our interpretation of the actual events) in our heads about our past, present, and how our future looks like. Gradually, we gave up our own power because we bought into these false beliefs and "stories".

These false beliefs and "stories" hold us back, and prevent us from speaking our own truth, honoring our Authentic Self, and living the life we truly desire. You might feel like you are living a life according to others' expectations and rules, instead of your own.

About Our Guest Speaker:

Leigh Anne Sommers, B.A., C.G.F., is a mystic and intuitive healer (clairsentient, clairvoyant and clairaudient) who has been in practice over 20 years. On a personal note, Leigh Anne is the parent of two adult children and to her delight about to become a grandmother. She has lectured at the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg and Willamette University - Salem, Oregon on integrating spirituality with daily living. She has a private practice, encompassing spiritual soul readings, energy healing, integrative bodywork, and Awakening the Inner Goddess retreats and workshops. Her workshops have been held in Trinidad, West Indies, Key West, Florida, Portland, Oregon, Vancouver Island & mainland British Columbia as well as Winnipeg, Manitoba. Leigh Anne has facilitated healing ceremonies in Quamichan Long House, Cowichan Tribes, Vancouver Island.

Leigh Anne studied with Virginia Satir, one of North America's foremost family therapists and Master Choi Kok Sui of Manilla Phillipines. She is the author of a series of children's books entitled Melodies Memories. Her poetry has been published and recorded to music in Europe and USA. At present she is on the Board of Directors developing Sun Valley Seeds of Life Educational Center.
