It's finally done! I am going to appear on Gary Null's Progressive Radio Network's "Coach On Call" show with Coach Debbie (Deborah Branker Harrod, CEC). Debbie and I did our interview and recording this morning, and I was told that the show will air next Monday, July 24th, at 1:00pm Eastern Time.
I'm very honored & excited to be invited as Debbie's guest on "Coach On Call", which aims to educate parents about what life coaching is, and how beneficial coaching could be for the whole family. Each week Coach Debbie interviews a coach, on a variety of issues such as parenting, relationships, work/life balance, self-care, etc. So, the show is a valuable resource for all parents. Since my niche is coaching women who are in nurturing roles or professions, I work with a lot of moms (and a few dads too). Our talk centers around my workshop "Resuscitate Your Life: The C.P.R. for Creating More Balance, Serenity and Purpose" (note: for those of you who don't know, I used to be a registered nurse, hence the language). We talked about the importance of practicing "Intensive Self-Care", why moms need to put on their own "oxygen masks", how family members can help the mom resuscitate her life, how to make conscious choices & set the intention to prioritize your life according to your values, and how to reframe your perspective so you can have more inner peace. It's a lively discussion, and at one point Debbie even brought up the hip movie "Failure to Launch". If you are curious about what this C.P.R. is all about, here is the show info:
