FOCUS + BELIEVE = ACHIEVE!
Fall is really here. Do you feel the wind of change?

The weather here suddenly turned cooler, and I came down with a nasty sinus infection. As soon as she heard the news, my good friend Christina Santiago rushed over to give me a Raindrop Technique treatment (a healing massage using pure therapeutic-grade essential oils that boost immune system and can be customized for different health issues). Ah, it felt HEAVENLY, especially because it's infused with love from a great friend. I felt MUCH better the next day! Thank you Christina!

September 22 started the countdown of the last 100 days of 2008. In my previous post, I wrote about The 100 Day Challenge. Did you take on the challenge?

It's been 3 weeks since September 22. How is it going?

For me, there are many GREAT things happening. I'm preparing for the nursing continuing education courses I'm teaching at County College of Morris, as well as a keynote speech for the upcoming Northeast Regional Oncology Nursing Conference (NERON), which will be held in Portsmouth, NH. A few powerful women got together and we are planning for a women's conference for March 2009. Women's empowerment has always been a passion of mine, so this is very exciting for me. And, I have been working behind closed doors on my first book, which is set to be published in November. It's titled "Intensive Care for the Nurturer's Soul: 7 Keys to Nurture Yourself While Caring for Others". Being a published author is my childhood dream. Needless to say, I am really excited.

Writing a book is a huge undertaking, so are my other projects. A few people I told about these projects asked me how I could get these done, on top of managing my businesses, a husband, two kids, two cats, etc. Didn't I say I've been working "behind closed doors"? I've had to make a conscious choice to turn down quite a few invitations and opportunities in the past few months, so I could FOCUS on these projects.

Back in summer, when I started writing my book, in order to motivate myself, I wrote this message on a dry-erase board on my fridge: "Whatever you BELIEVE, you ACHIEVE." My very creative 13-year-old daughter saw it, and decided to embelish it for me. The result is what you see in the picture. She even wrote a little formula: FOCUS + BELIEVE = ACHIEVE!

Isn't she creative AND intelligent?!! I'm SO proud of her!

What's the ONE goal that you commit to achieve by end of 2008? Whatever your goal is, you must BELIEVE that you can achieve it, and give it your 100% FOCUS. If you have challenge with believing in yourself or keeping your focus, I can definitely help you. Simply email me or sign up for a complimentary coaching consult. I'm here to support you, whenever you are ready to take the next step.

To Your Success,
Hueina

P.S. Here's an email I just received yesterday from a dentist I've been coaching. You can read more testimonials on my website Testimonials page.

"Hueina helped me tremendously by always asking thought provoking questions. Her coaching provided me with skills to organize my thoughts, prioritize my life and find the inner self that was long forgotten. As a dentist, a hands-on mom, a Sunday school teacher, and a peace maker in peacemaker ministry, running two offices, two kids, and a husband, to find time for personal spiritual growth and rest has been a challenge. Hueina through her coaching helped me find peace and order in life. I am now able to reach my destination by going around the obstacles in life instead of charging towards it head on. Hueina also provided me with many paradigm shifts in order for me to reach the state of inner peace. Thank you Hueina for all the work you have done. I am looking forward to our next session."
