Intensive Self-Care Tips: check out MamaSaid
One important practice of Intensive Self-Care is taking mini breaks throughout the day to refresh and recharge yourself. Having a good laugh will increase your serotonin level (translation: makes you feel good), reduce stress, and energize you both physically and emotionally.

Check out Jen Singer's MamaSaid.net-- "The Stay-at-Home Mom's Coffee Break". Jen has a refreshing and humorous take on the stay-at-home motherhood. She has a book "14 Hours 'Til Bedtime", Momma Blog and Momma-Heard (her point of view at what's in the news).

My personal favorite is the not-to-be-missed Mama-Logue, short monologue videos that's funny, silly, and sometimes makes you laugh until you cry! Well, if you're already crying or feel like crying after a LONG day, this will certainly cheer you up!

They say "Laughter is the best medicine". MamaSaid definitely supplies plenty of Rx for ANY moms, not just stay-at-home moms. For best result, shake it before you take it, and repeat as necessary. :-)
